Greetings Again Kindred, 

We wanted to share with each of you that our leadership has decided not to hold in-person services this Sunday (August 20) due to the severe rain and wind predicted to accompany the incoming storm. This decision is one we have labored over because we value the in-person gathering of the church on the Lord’s Day. Were it not for the tent being our primary meeting venue, this would not be an issue. We also recognize that this is a judgment call, we are relying on weather reports to help us understand the severity of the weather and are seeking to exercise wisdom as we’ve made this choice. 

Instead, we will live-stream our service at 10:00 AM (note the special time) at kindredchurch.org/live and on our Youtube, & Facebook pages. We encourage all of you to join us online as we sing, pray, and sit under the preaching of God’s Word from Ephesians 6:10-13. 

As a note, we have received notifications of potential power interruptions (as many of you have), so please pray that we maintain power and connectivity during the stream. 

We know that many of you give weekly in person at our services. Due to this interruption in our normal routine you can mail or drop your offerings at the office (100 S Chaparral Ct. Ste. 100. Anaheim, CA 92808). You can also give online anytime at kindredchurch.org/give. 

This decision also means that normally scheduled auxiliary Sunday meetings such as Core Classes, Foundations Children's Ministry, Student Ministries, and On-Campus Life Groups will not meet this Sunday. 

Thankfully this storm will pass, and we plan to resume everything as typically scheduled next Sunday. 

We're grateful for your understanding, and we will look forward to being together this Sunday online and in person the following week. We pray that you all stay safe amid the predicted weather and that you walk in the Spirit this week doing the good works which God has prepared in advance for you.
