Please take a moment to look over some of our Next Steps to getting plugged in here at Kindred.
Church membership is simply a commitment to love, attend, and support a local church. It’s an expression of love for Christ’s body, the church. It is also a commitment to the welfare of other believers who make up the church. Ultimately, church membership is for the glory of God as believers commit themselves to accountability in one local assembly.

Because Jesus instructed us to be baptized, baptism is an act of obedience. While it’s not necessary for salvation, it demonstrates submission to God and the decision to follow Christ. We immerse ourselves because we believe Scripture shows that Jesus modeled that as the way to publicly acknowledge our faith in him. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you’re ready to be baptized—and we’d love to help.
If you are interested in being baptized at Kindred, we invite you to attend our required baptism class with Pastor Andrew Rogers. More details to follow once we receive your registration.
