COVID-19 | Kindred is Online!
During the past several weeks we have seen rapid changes to our lives as we have known them. As a nation, we are undergoing extensive measures to combat the current outbreak of the Coronavirus within our communities. These developments have affected all of our lives in various ways.
These changes have caused us as a church leadership to be praying and seeking to act with prudence regarding the “next steps” we should take as a church. In seeking wise counsel, we have decided to take a new approach to our church services and ministries for the time being.
Due to the guidelines shared by our President and the CDC regarding the Coronavirus and efforts to slow its spread, we are holding all our services online.
As Christians who are citizens of the United States, we desire to honor God by supporting our President’s recommendations to suspend all public gatherings. We have temporarily canceled all other weekly ministries as well. As things unfold, we will provide you with updates.
We want to encourage you and your family that we are praying for all of you and are committed to shepherding each of you through our media platforms and personal contacts.
While this isn’t what we’ve planned, we are excited about new open doors for the Gospel. We might be temporarily limited in our public gatherings, but the Gospel is not limited! Be sure to invite your friends to watch any of our online services so that they may find the comfort, hope, and strength of Jesus in this season.
The Elders of Kindred Community Church
During this hard and uncertain time, we are excited about the online opportunity God has given us to carry His Word into countless homes throughout the world. You can tune in every Sunday at 10:30am, Tuesday evenings at 7:00pm, and Wednesdays at 7:00pm. You may view our services live and archived on:
COVID-19 CHURCH UPDATE FROM PASTOR JASON ON MAY 23rd, 2020
Dear Kindred Family,
By now, most of you have seen President Trump’s announcement this morning calling on all fifty governors to open houses of worship and calling them essential. The leadership of Kindred is very excited by this announcement and see it as a significant step towards our opening.
We are actively monitoring developments on the city, county, state, and federal levels to determine the steps necessary to safely and legally gather to worship at Kindred as soon as possible.
For weeks we have been working proactively to prepare to open and are pouring over the CDC guidelines for communities of faith to further inform our planning. Because circumstances continue to develop rapidly, we will not be gathering in person this Sunday, May 24, 2020, but we are eager to be back together again soon.

God Bless You,

UPDATE FROM PASTOR JASON ON MAY 6TH, 2020
Those of you who were able to join us for our “virtual” congregational meeting on Sunday had the privilege of getting to hear from our pastoral candidate Charles Vermeulen and his wonderful wife Nina. It is the hope and intention of our elders to call him as our next Pastor of Children and Family ministries. Charles and Nina come to us from South Africa, by way of The Master’s Seminary and have three beautiful children (10, 7, and 5).
Charles has a passion for God’s Word and specifically God’s design for the family. If you didn’t get to watch the interview, or simply want to watch it again, please see the video below.
Our elders would love to hear your feedback and affirmations over the two weeks as well as answer any questions you might have. We are excited about Charles joining our team in serving and shepherding the people of Kindred.
