Parent Resources

One of our desires at Kindred Kids is to help direct parents to great resources for discipling their children. Below you can find some of our recommendations.

Bibles
At Kindred Kids we use the ESV as our primary Bible translation both because of it’s accuracy and readability.

One good option for a children’s Bible is the ESV Seek and Find Bible published by Crossway. This bible is a full-color children’s bible with lots of illustration, story summaries and the full ESV text.
Another option is the ESV Children’s Bible which also has many full-color illustrations and the full ESV text.
Both of these Bibles are covered by Crossway’s lifetime warranty.

Scripture Memory/Music
Helping your children memorize Scripture is one of the most significant things you can do for their Spiritual life both and for the future. One way to aid in this memory is through song.

Seeds Family Worship provides music taken straight from Scripture and provides a fun and way for your family to hide God’s word in your hearts.  Seeds provides both audio and video editions of their songs.

The Rizers are a band that sings Scripture verses in the form of upbeat, kid-friendly music. Their songs can be found on iTunes or Amazon.

Books to Read With Your Children
The Ology: Ancient Truths Ever New by Marty Machowski is a beautiful book that aides parents teach a Christian worldview with short sections on the different areas of theology (God, Man, Sin, Salvation, Scripture)
