Seminar Topic: Finding Help and Hope from Life-Dominating Addictions

A one-day seminar on counseling those suffering from addictions (e.g. alcohol, drugs, pornography, food, etc.)

Are you seeking freedom from something that’s quietly controlling your life?

As followers of Christ, we will find ourselves responding to daily life using addictive substances (e.g., alcohol, prescription meds, illegal drugs, vaping, caffeinated beverages, etc.) or addictive behaviors (social media, food, shopping, pornography, sports, hobbies, work and wealth, health, TV, etc.). Yet, we know that God’s Word tells us that these idols of the heart will never provide long-term satisfaction.

This seminar will equip disciplers, Life Group leaders, biblical counselors, husbands and wives, fathers and mothers, friends and family members to provide biblical sufficiency-based instruction, encouragement, support, and care for one-another as we all strive to put-off the old addictive habits of the old man and put-on the righteous new habits in Christ (Eph 4:22-24; Col 3;1-17).

Kindred encourages anyone ages 13 and older to attend this important seminar!
