Church membership is simply a commitment to love, attend, and support a local church. It’s an expression of love for Christ’s body, the church. It is also a commitment to the welfare of other believers who make up the church. Ultimately, church membership is for the glory of God as believers commit themselves to accountability in one local assembly.
