PODCAST INSTRUCTIONS
All audio messages available on the Media page can also be listened to using your iPod. This method is called a podcast. Podcasts are downloaded to your iPod from the Apple store using the iTunes program that you run from your PC or Mac. After you download the podcast to your iPod you can listen to the messages at our convenience directly from their iPod without a computer connect. Just like a song you may have purchased from the iTunes store.
ALL Kindred Audio Ministry podcasts are FREE. The can download them as often you like. If you are new to podcasts, these instructions were taken from the Apple store and should get you up to speed so you can download the messages and start listening! How can I get started?
The podcasts directory in the iTunes Store is where you find and subscribe to new podcasts:
The Podcasts section of your Library is where you manage your existing subscriptions and play the episodes you have downloaded:
To find and subscribe to a podcast:
- Launch iTunes. If you do not have iTunes, download the latest version of iTunes, free.
- In the iTunes menu select 'Advanced'
- Select Subscribe to Podcast
- In the box that pops up enter: www.kindredchurch.org/kindred.xml
After a few seconds, iTunes will begin to download the latest episode for the podcast you subscribed to. To listen to or watch the episode:
- Click the triangle next to the name of the podcast to see all the episodes:
- Double-click on the top episode to play it.
- To download and play older episodes, double-click on them or click the Get button.
