How to listen to audio messages:
Welcome to the Audio Ministry online messages section. From here you can listen to our Sunday Sermons, special messages , or most of our weekly bible studies directly from your computer or iPod at home. The Audio Ministry at Kindred Church makes available all of these messages for no charge every Sunday as a CD, but many of our brothers and sisters in Christ cannot make it to church or are serving the Lord in other parts of the world and are able to keep in touch using this alternative way of getting the Word.
We've put together a brief summary of how to use the Sermons and Messages below. If you want further instructions on how to listen to these messages using our weekly Podcasts, refer to the instructions in the menu item called Podcast Listening Instructions. All of our messages are organized by date with the most recent audio listed first. You can also use the drop down boxes on this page to get to messages that target specific books of the Bible, messages by speaker, messages by Series, and Messages by type (such as Sunday Morning, Men's breakfast, Wednesday Bible study, etc.). Once you are on the Messages and Sermons page you will see a row for each message displayed like this:
To listen to the message you want all you have to do is click on the right arrow (circled in red here). An audio player will start, and as long as your computer speakers are working and turned on, you will hear the message. The message when playing will look like the picture below along with a running elapsed time. To stop the message click on the stop button. To fast forward through a message you can also move the slider that is in grey on the horizontal progress bar.

If you want to downlad the message and play it on a non-ipod MP3 player, or to save it and play it on your computer directly, click on the MP3 download button (in red) and save it to your computer. Then you can copy it to your MP3 audio player. While iPods can play MP3 messages, we recommend you use the Podcast instructions to play these on an iPod as the setup is easier and more reliable.
